How do I reset progress in NFS HP Remastered?

How can I reset progress on PC? I am thinking about getting NFS HP Remastered sometime soon, and one thing I need to know is if I can reset my progress at will, like restarting from scratch after com...

Yea, I've done this about 10 times, and it does not work.

I've even deleted the entire criterion file, and it just loads the game I've already finished.

    I found this working solution in another forum:

    • Go offline in the ea app (3 dots upper left corner)
    • delete local save files C:\Users\**you**\Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed(TM) Hot Pursuit Remastered (or move to another folder for safekeeping)
    • start the game. accept eula etc.etc.
    • exit game
    • go online in the ea app
    • restart the game
