I never typed that.

When Origin couldn't get internet access it gave you the option to PLAY OFFLINE.

EA just states, in more words, "YOUR SCREWED" if you have no internet access.

People are replying to comments and stating things they clearly know nothing about.

The plain FACTS are

When I purchased NFSMW 2012, Origin allowed game play without internet access.

NOW

EA took over

and it

DOESN'T allow game play without internet access.

WHY?

I don't even play NFSMW 2012 online anymore.

Everyone is hacked and cheating, these days.

And what is the ILLEGITIMATE way of playing the game without logging into the EA app.?

MANY YEARS AGO

I purchased NFSMW 2012 on disc and installed it on my PC.

IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY

I had to download ORIGIN and install it to run NFSMW 2012.

THEN

If I had no internet, ORIGIN gave you the option to play offline.

NOW

You MUST have internet access to use the EA app.

AND

The EA app. has to access the internet in order for NFSMW 2012 to launch.

SO

How do I get NFSMW 2012 to launch without internet access?

BECAUSE

EA app gives me a pop up window, stating I need to connect to the internet to access account info. EC201. (SEE ATTACHMENT)

BUT

NFSMW 2012 runs fine, with internet, in single player & online multiplayer.

You are mistaken.

The EA app. tries to launch ONLINE, in order to start the NFSMW 2012 game in OFFLINE mode.

You CAN NOT play NFSMW 2012 without the EA app. finding your account info.

My question wasn't weather you can play the game online or not.

I KNOW you CAN NOT.

My question is:

How do you play Need for Speed Most Wanted without internet access?

We WERE able to play offline through the ORIGIN app. but now that EA took over, you get an error window.

EA pop up window reads:

We couldn't find your account info
Restart the app, sign in online, and select the "Keep me signed
in" option so you can continue playing games offline.

Error code: EC201

It's just ridiculous that you must sign in online to the EA app., to then play NFSMW 2012 game in offline mode.

It is not possible to sign into the EA app. without internet access in the first place.
