@xObst Hi, if you go into your C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\Criterion Games\Need for Speed: Most Wanted you can open the config file with notepad.
Look for the "LockTo30" value and make sure this is set to "False" rather than True.
Now the FPS should go as high as your system/monitor can handle.

don't know about you but it didn't solve the problem. thats how I started new thread. game is locked to 60FPS no matter what settings been used... so OP how did you solved this???

I'd like to know aswell. I got a ryzen 7 3700 and RTX 2060 but my game is stuck at 60fps. I got Warzone and BFV on Ultra settings hitting 144fps easy with my 144hz 1ms monitor. NFS Most Wanted is just stuck at 60fps. I know I can get higher fps, but how?

But i found the solution,
Go ahead and open the config file in C:\Users\"yourusername"\Documents\Criterion Games\Need For Speed(TM) Most Wanted
Open the config file, and set the Vsyncinterval from 1 to 0
Set the Lockto30FPS to false,
