How to hide racer list or make font smaller??

Hi, guys! I have a random question.. how to hide racer list on the upper left of  the screen or maybe make it smaller while you are racing?? it often takes up so much room on the screen, covering a third of it, I find it distracting.. It has to be a way!!..
