how to restart my career progress in need for speed payback

I want to play the campaign from the beginning, but there is no option to to that in-game, so I used EA Help, and I was told to post here. How could I do it?

hi...go into your documents folder and re name your current nfs payback file. do this out of the game.....after renaming start your game and it will make you a new file.... I use two files one is completely finished and the other one is my re started game file. all I do is rename witch ever one I want to play.

bro even i play in origin but when i have started the game and i have completed many missions but when i restarted it its start all over again will you please tell me how did you saved the game?

Hi! Which file? Savegame file or the whole folder or what? I tried the folder, but the game somehow retracts my progress from the cloud or something, as my game still starts from the point I was already.

I deleted the whole file mine was in documents. its also in c folder under user accounts. I didn't go there I just deleted the file on documents worked fine

It also makes it nearly impossible to accomplish AutoLogs.  

I did this after i completed the game i had used a lot of shipments but i spent the part tokens but still had around a million in the bank. Now everytime i restart (like the way you explained) im starting on 800k and 256 part tokens where does this come from i wanted to do a challange this time but i cant with this amount of cash and part tokens

I searched for some answers to the career reset myself, i stompeled about this thread and your warnings. Thanks mate! Gladly they are NOT UP TO DATE ANYMORE!  

I made a new career:

-Turn off Cloud savegames in the origins app.

-Go to documents\need for speed Payback\Savegame\savegame backup the save file and deleted the original.

- Started nfs as usual, new game started, played the tutorial. Afterwards in the garage i saw everything i got from shipments with the old savegame.

     YOU KEEP YOUR HARD EARNED (OR PAYED) COSMETICS FROM SHIPMENTS!

     you wont recive new shipments for leveling until you hit level 50. From this point you recive Shipyards for filling up the rp bar. 

I hope this will help other people since i didn't find anything else about the penalties of deleting save file except for this post. 🙂

Edit: you will loose abandoned cars if you have some.
