Oh, you are definitely alone, we all love visual points, as you can see in several other thread belonging to the same issue (though most of them were before scrap shop, so they suggest different ways to deal with surplus vps). See for example:

From all the other suggestions the one I like the most is removing them from normal event prizes (I mean, you are after a battery or legendary blueprint, there are two of them in the selection, yet you get small stack of useless vps). Cash races in Tuner trials and tournament rewards should supply enough of them for anyone.
I am close to 2M, I welcome anything reasonable with vps, and please discuss it in one of the threads mentioned 🙂
@tetricGen i dont want to rain on your parade but 770k is nothing really, i'm currently at 3.6m (after spending tons to buy all paints/kits etc) and earning around 500k a week that is completely useless to me, you'll find most of the seasoned players on here are waiting for the devs to do something sensible about vp's
