I want to remove exhaust flames

I want to remove exhaust flames from NFS Payback as they're so oveeused and it occurs on every car regardless of it being bone stock. How can I remove flames all together on PC? I like the sounds, I ...

This is so true. The flames are ridiculous, you can tune the overrun for the pops, it should affect the flames, on some cars i i dont want a 2step style flamethrower. I wish we could change this
