great ideas well thought out and I agree with all suggestions put forward...more content needs to be released, more garage spaces need to be opened up for a customize your car game 5 is not near enough space...more like 20 garage spaces would be a start not only 5

In my update ideas, car slots unlock during career, the reason is that I am okay with having only five slots at the start.
I understand that, as BlackPanthaa says, having only five slots forces player to really pick their favourite cars. I have actually picked three cars I would go through the career with, one of which is a starter car. However, I still want more car slots. There are at least two very different reasons players want more car slots:
1) People want to go through career with different cars, either for variety or thinking bigger stock stats equals better car.
2) People want to customise different cars after finishing career, to increase fun after there is no more progression story-wise.
I, of course, opt to the second reason.
Just as an example, my planned cars are:
01) 2014 Subaru BRZ
02) 1999 Nissan Skyline R34
03) 1986 Toyota Sprinter AE86
a1) 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 Nakai
a2) 1995 Lamborghini Diablo SV Morohoshi
b1) 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 Eddie
b2) 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 Magnus
c2) 1965 HoonicornSubaru BRZ is one of the starter cars. I plan to explore the map at first, to find collectible performance upgrades. That may bring the 207 hp car to at least 350 hp, enough for beginning. Skyline R34 is what I plan to complete career with, it can reach over 1,000 hp. Sprinter AE86, known to some as Corolla, would be a drift build. I plan to upgrade Subaru, but, and this is a minor spoiler, you need a car that can be downgraded to below 200 hp, and, Subaru is just over that in stock.
The cars with letters are bonus cars that can be purchased for free, so they are expendable. Letters indicate my order of preference in replacing, numbers indicate slots. I'll be upgrading my own Skyline as upgrades unlock, but this lets me use cars that may be better than what I can unlock. Plus, you need two of those cars in missions.
I have two slots open, to be filled depending on what cars will be added, and whether any slot will be added. I, of course, would like to see my ideas in the game.
By the way, I would buy the 1973 Porsche 911, but, I would like two side mirrors, and the available option just has too modern mirrors. Surely someone has made the stock mirror replica for the right side. And, the headlight tunnels need to be aggressive, sadly, 964 was the last generation with aggressive headlight tunnels.
I know the reason cars until about the seventies had only one side mirror was that the roads were rarely, if ever, more than one lane, thus the second mirror was not really needed, and available as a luxury option, if that, but I still think two would be more aesthetic.

Seems like you can now use gas stations in Need for Speed. Such a classic feature, only been in last two games. In the older games, you could turn visual damage off.

As far as I know, the highest level is now 70. But what if it would be infinity? I have already seen people in gameplays saying they can't gain rep. And, despite having issues with Most Wanted 2012, I hit 40 million rep, and would have liked to keep getting more.
The problem with high level would be that there would be cheaters trying to get high levels. Cheaters will cheat anyway, but the probability of cheating would be higher if there was a prize at level 100 or 500. But, there does not have to be a prize, just, people who want their rep to count, can keep going.
