I completed some of the hardest racing games and I also unlocked all achievements in every Need for Speed game before, but the requirements for silver and especially gold are just ridiculous. I won the first prestige race "Horses For Courses" with a best time of 1:58... but for gold I need 1:39. The gap is way too big.
I really like the idea of a DLC with some harder events, but please change the time/points for silver/gold. It's nearly Impossible and should be changed. My suggestion is +2 seconds for silver and +5 seconds for gold.. using the current bronze requirement. I also have a bad feeling about the last ultimate event, because restarting such a long event can be a very frustrating experience. =/

Another vote here, add some faster cars or change the times, the math doesn't add up at all I think some of these golds are legit impossible even on a perfect run! This seriously needs patching. Game used to be fun this is downright stupid, one of the worst DLC's I've played.

Didn't see this before I posted the same thing, i don't think a dev could get gold in all events...and 40 cripes. Also why didn't they raise the level cap?

After all this time still no reaction. I don't want to write a "hate" message and b*tch against EA, because I grew up with Need for Speed (playing it since PS1) and had a great time with most of the titles. I can remember the horrible "King of the Hill" achievement and the boring boosting to obtain the crown... or hunting down an EA moderator to be able to unlock the reward card hustler achievement.. or the moment EA finally handed out the Race Day achievements before server closure.
All of these examples have something to do with achievements, but even these hard/"rare" achievements are "doable/unlockable" (at least for a period of time) with enough dedication and without much frustration. I know TA don't represent the whole gaming community, but 196 of 19.585 gamers completed Shift 2 Unleashed. That's around 1%. Not much, but at least 1%.
With this DLC we are far away from 1%. What's the point to give only a handful of people the feeling of a great accomplishment? Yes, only hard achievements give us the possibility to be really proud about earning them, but these requirements are just crazy. It doesn't fit into the series, because NFS is usually well balanced... sometimes a bit too easy (like the career of the current NFS), but never extremely hard and nearly impossible like the prestige events. It's the first time I really have the feeling something untested was released. Maybe because you don't have to test best times, because an insane gold time requirement cannot be considered as glitch? I don't know.
I can't be sure the same thing happens to the new NFS 2017 and this give me as an achievement hunter and completionist the only option to evade the new title for a long time... until all content is added to the game ~ and at this point I can order a cheap used copy of the time. I want to support NFS and I want to buy it the first year after the release, but I don't want to support someone who don't care about the title update and achievements.
We are maybe not the biggest part of the NFS Community, but we ARE a part. Please give us at least some kind of heads-up/answer.

So we are all pretty much done with NFS I am guessing, I know they lost my custom purely based on this DLC, and I know in real life many who wont be buying anymore. The reason they wont respond to this thread is because they wont do anything. EA have a reputation for "lets get our games off the press, and move onto the next bloated franchise" Having them patch this means they did something wrong. Something a dev like EA wont ever admit. Anyone remember RedLynx doing something similar in Trials HD? And publicly holding their hands up and saying...ok we made it insane, and furthermore patched it! EA wont do that. Why? because they are lazy, and don't care about the end user.
Look at all their sports games, 90% of them are incomplete achievement / trophy wise due to server closures, they don't care. EA have a reputation, if you like achievements etc, stay away from their games, unless you complete them quick.
Anyways we can all rant, but nothing will change....instead, lets lighten the mood with a little joke....
So apparently....did you guys hear EA are making a new NFS (2017)...........Hahaha.....yeah....like anyones going to buy that after NFS 2015

i do like hard challenges, but this challenges with trophies attached to it are not right.
It is literally broken, i mean too much randomness and luck involved to earn this trophies.
If you fix it, you should remove traffic in the Prestige Mode or change the gold targets to bronze, so everyone can earn them.
EA feels the *storm is brewin up, im sure they are already working on something cause i heard they will put out their last DLC for NFS soon and then thats it.
