By creating an update for the hardcore players, it doesn't mean they don't care about those who aren't hardcore. People who aren't hardcore have the rest of the game to play and something to aim towards with these new events. Nothing in the game really offers any level of challenge besides the prestige events, so with this it's a game that caters to all skill levels. Nobody should feel insulted by that, that's just paranoid.
Whether you think it's a good challenge or not is a different story. But I'd say more games should have something that really tests everything you've learned, even if the skill level is incredibly high.
And I've said it several times on this thread but it bears repeating: you're not forced to play these events for anything.
Creating an update for the hardcore NFS gamer shouldn't involve any achievement since it directly alter the game for the achievements hunter too. But yeah, it's an update only for the hardcore NFS gamers I guess. I hope you guys have a good weekend 🙂
