Is the refund system a myth?

Well, everything was in order until I checked the eligible game list.  I was under the impression that Origin had a refund option for all content sold.  I'm guessing NFS games aren't eligible for a refund if brought through Origin.  Silly me, I thought Origin was a reputable platform that offered refunds, and went directly to Origin to try this title to avoid being double DRM'd.  I'll put it down to experience.  The game is just so bad that I will never install it again, so is a total loss.  Thankfully not a big loss due to the sale price.
