Is this game open world?

Is this game gonna be open world? Making me drive 5 mins to start a race? I'm not interested in Payback if it is. I have Forza Horizon 3 but i don't play it much because it's open world. So annoying ...

You really need to read up on this game. If you do not like open world racing games maybe you shouldn't be buying games like this or Forza Horizon. How do you like driving games but not like driving?

    Yes , Need For Speed Payback is an open-world driving game.

    Just like Forza Horizon 3.
