It's Absurd, low FPS on a dual GTX 580 machine

The game's out since quite a bit and they didn't fix that YET? Is there any solution aside locking framerate to a crappy 30 FPS or turning off most of the details? Is it a known issue or am I the onl...

    Hello!

    EA: 

    We are aware that some players are experiencing stuttering and frame-rate issues while playing Need for Speed Most Wanted on PC. Our team has been working diligently on resolving these problems and we have made improvements that will hopefully resolve most of these problems. These improvements will be available in an upcoming patch.

It's dated 12/3/2012 - December 3rd, 2012. The patch that they released didn't actually help much but a later one - released about a month ago I think it was? - did.
