"Let it slide" is too ruddy hard.
The "let it slide" mission is horrendously hard. Or am I missing something? Best I did was 70K, and struggling. The goal is set at 80 in an INITIATION? That's way too hard.

That's the last thing anyone wants to hear when their struggling, dude. Unless you'd care to 'share' the setup.
This is what works for me, others may find it different (but this is the setup I used with my own car which beat the initiation score I 'set' in the 'trainer' RX7)
~Level 12
starter 180SX with pro offroad tires, diff, and suspension, max steering responsiveness in live turning (gas to drift)
just turn into a corner while still holding gas, quickly let go of the gas while still turning and quickly slam back on the gas (like lift and tap back on gas immediately)
It should hold sideways pretty well (get some speed, it helps)
Once you unlock more power, go for the speed cross diff and suspension (super), but keep the tires max offroad (elite) on the 180sx and just do the same
should work in other cars as well (just make sure you're not all the way to drift on the the race/drift axis, or it won't snap out of a slide nicely)
If you can't pass the test in the RX7, pause the game and go into settings and difficulty and set that to easy.
The 'drift' RX7 doesn't drift very well, but if you speed into a corner, you should be able to meet the score.
