Local play Multiplayer Shift Unleashed 2

Is it possible for the Slightly Mad Studios to add local play to Shift Unleashed 2 on PC, i really love this game and i wanted to play it with my friend with hosting my own server with  internet connection without a need of EA Servers or anything so please Slightly Mad Studios all i ask is this for Shift Unleashed 2, this feature existed in Shift 1!!!!
