I'm fully agreeing with you on the round about way to get money at night but it sure takes a while to pocket huge amount of money.
The cops and the excessive force and fines drive me bonkers!
I think Ghost Studios should have named this game. ( NFS Police State).
Because this NFS Heat is totally ridiculous.
Best regards to you and I wish we could buy a tank to run the cop cars over with in NFS Heat game....LOL😁👍
I think everyone should stop complaining because for once in a NFS game police are good, if you think police are brutal in this game then you definitely haven't played NFS payback because they were worse in that game. I'm not being rude when i say this but the best advice i can give you is, equipping better parts for you car to make it fast, and also get better, its really easy to escape the cops if you know what to do.
The reason why cops are so harsh in this game is because people complained about previous NFS games (NFS 2015) not having good police, i myself can agree because i have it but when i played it i could easily outrun the police in under a minute.
The best advice i can give everyone is to buy a faster car and try to get better racing wise. (Not being rude)
You see if too many people complain again we'll have a NFS 215 scenario again, and no one wants that that's why its best we shouldn't complain because if they did change the police then people would complain the police are too easy so it would be a never ending cycle of Nerf this Nerf that.
- 6 years ago@UnknownUser018 As mentioned previously, I have no issue with cops being hard. But they should scale with you. Second night out, barely have basic Sport kits through your first car and you have Corvette cops that are impossible to outrun and Mustangs slamming into you head-on, knocking nearly a full bar of health off your car... Ruins the experience.
I have no issue with that kind of aggression if on the second night out someone bounces across 5 or 6 races, avoids cops multiple times and really riles them up... But one short escape and a single race later, it was impossible to move without hitting 2 cops.
As a result, I lost nearly an hour of gameplay due to the heavy-handed removal of all my funds from the 4 or 5 races during the day and all the rep from the 1 night race. This after only being in the game for maybe 2 hours.
Level 15 or 20 on the second or third car and with a few hundred grand in the bank? Sure. Hit them with a few tough cops and a $200k fine... No problem, I'm good with that. The New Player Experience was just way too harsh, hitting someone with next to nothing to their name for everything they have worked for, is wrong.- 6 years ago
Absolutely true. First night out with my Mitsubishi, trying to lose the cops in the city making every turn possible to no avail... tried to outrun them, nothing. Heat level 1-2 and they already were going down on me as if they didn't care for their own lives (which, if you ask me, kinda takes the realism away sometimes. Does anybody else remember the "doughnut eating / they ain't paying me enough for this" cops at heat level 1 in Most Wanted 2005?). Needless to say, got caught too. All of this would be completely fine though, if the only way to actually lose the cops weren't jumps.... Not heavy traffic zones or takedowns, just jumps. Made me fall into the long nights for RP - banking af days cycle.
For the rest shoutout to the NFS team, you did a really good game. Haven't had this much fun since the PS2 times. Just fix the cops please

Most wanted 2005 now you're talking some classic NFS when they did it right!
That game I was glued to on my PS2 back in the day.
Weekends at night were spent cashing in on races and cop chases were hours long.
I liked hanging out at the bus station and milking the rep to get a higher payout.
Good old game it was and is still today in 2020 for old memories of better times for NFS Franchise.
I do really enjoy the older NFS games even in the 1990s as I have been gaming since the 1970s.
I first got into racing games back when Atari's "Pole Position" game came out in the early 1980s.
Here is a fine example of the early days of racing for me.
Seen this video and had to share.
