Manual Transmission Stuck In 3rd Gear

I've had this issue for a week now and nobody has helped me. The manual transmission in ANY CAR is stuck in 3rd gear no matter what I do. I can't shift up or down. I have tried repairing, reinstalling, clearing cache, and doing all the hail mary things that EA support told me to do (Update drivers, no luck. Safe reboot, no luck. Windows update, no luck. If this is a bug in the game which it seems to be, will it be fixed or am I stuck with it since NFS Heat is the main priority now, or is there ANY FIX FOR THIS.

    @kgjohnston 

    Are you using a wheel controller, maybe with an H-pattern shifter or handbrake?

    Try disconnecting all non-essential USB devices and retry, thanks.
