many textures arent loading

Hey.

I have a pretty capable pc but many textures need to load almost a minute before they are sharp.

for example buildings and some objects

car and road textures are fine.

I am playing on ultra, game is installed on a HDD with 100+ MB/s writing speed.

CPU is a i7 9700k, graphics card a RTX 2080 and I got 16 GB of DDR4 RAM.

How can I fix this texture streaming problem ?

NFS Heat uses Streaming Textures to data media, the Speed from a Harddrive doesn't matter for fast LOD.

Only the reaction time counts and a good reaction time you have only with a SSD

well all other games seem to work fine even a big game like CoD with its 150 GB which most of them are textures

its all about optimization that does nothing have to do with hardware

I saw the same problem with alot of people who played that

I could try to move the game to my SSD but I highly doubt it will fix anything.

Also LODs are called the far 3d models and they have nothing todo with textures not loading.

  • Try using the program Defraggler and defrag the game files that might speed it up. I have had the same thing happening when I first launched the game idk if this actually fixed it but it seems it did since I haven't seen it getting that bad ever since (it still happens but not as bad as it did). BTW I would like to know if this helped you out. With Defraggler you can right click on the folder containing your game files and defrag it.
