Memeory loss

Hello. I have an origin account and the memory was lost. Not deleted off the hard drive but it all just disappeared. However, my fastest times on all events still remain. what happened? Is there any way to fix it?

  • You've probably experienced the same thing as me, your save file became corrupt. If you check the file (it's under my document / ghost games / settings), if the file with random numbers is 0kb large, then it's corrupt. Unless you have a backup or any way to restore the file you're screwed. You have to start all over again from scratch. Times will be saved but all else lost.

    Have you tried this:

Open your savegame directory (it may look like this: C:\Users\User\Documents\Ghost Games\Need for Speed(TM) Rivals\settings)

right-click on your save file -> properties -> previous versions

If you are in luck, then maybe you can restore an older version of your savegame.

(This could be slightly different with Win8)

  • Yeah, that might work. I found out I never bothered to enable that feature the hard way 🙂
