Money spent on upgrade in vain

What is going on? If you look at the first screenshot I had 750 PR before spending $168,000 on an upgrade and then PR goes down 1 point instead of up? This has happened to me for at least 10 times now... that's why I was prepared to take screenshots because I was almost sure it will happen again! So how do I get back all that money I spent? Or get all those PR points I lost?

  • You had a 5 star 940PR blue part before the upgrade and a 4 star 933PR purple part after the upgrade, that explains the decrease in overall PR. Sorry but that is how blue-to-purple upgrades work. You must install more materials in purple part. You will need lots of cash as well.

PS: I see that you are trying to upgrade the Huracan. I must  tell you that I have a 780 PR Mercedes-AMG GT which is not enough to get me through underground chapter 15. I don't know how much PR you can extract from 5 star Huracan but I am sure you'll be disappointed in the long run.

wow thanks for this great info 7ru3blu3! I had no idea this is how it works... then I'll leave the Huracan alone and work on the Ferrari LaFerrari which is currently at 818 PR and it's still not enough to get past Off the Cuff race in chapter 15!

  • @mhorga All the parts works on the same way, green to blue, blue to purple, purple to gold, you lose some PR when you rebuilt them but you can recover them with 1-2 parts installed on it, some players complain about this but at the end if you full upgrade one part to purple (max) or gold (max) you always gain PR so is a real advanced do that, happy racing!!!

@peniastall I have only noticed this when converting from Blue to Purple (and may be Purple to Yellow). No other conversion resulted in loss of PR as far as I remember.

  • @7ru3blu3 That happened to me in only one car, lost  1-2 PR, don't remember exactly which car but I remembered was a hyper car, only rebuilt two parts because most of them upgrade obtaining purple parts, happy racing!!

  • Actually, you can see the parts PR drop in all cases, where the new part has fewer stars than the old one. That is always for blue to purple and purple to gold parts, and sometimes even from green to blue (classic sport and muscle cars).

And just for the record, there is always drop of PR of that part (when losing a star), but it may not transfer into cars PR status (usually for less important parts like Ecu/Nitro).

Hi Folks, I believe this mobile version NFS game cost us more money than any other gaming console. Don't we think it's too much 💰
