More horsepower less winning

I would like to know why, when i increase my horsepower how is it that i begin to lose more races. I just experienced this very thing. I beat the same two races in Tuner Trails with less HP. the driving is the same. we have all run these courses we know them, but every time the HP goes up the winning dose down.

CAN YOU SAY RIGGED.

I'm tired of it.

I posted a similar question the other day. In BRR, I had previously almost achieved Icon 2 with a Porsche 918 Spyder with a PR of 903. Since the update, I've upgraded that car to 927 PR, finished the campaign, and can't touch my times from pre-update. Currently ranked 4445 and as soon as I top 4500 I get hammered by tuned Vipers, CCX's etc. Not exactly sure what the point is slowing cars down.
