Moving the HUD for wide screen

Hello,

I'm running need for speed using Nvida surround at a resolution of 6015 x 1080 on three screens.

How do i center my HUD put it on the center screen). I have to look far right or left to see the map and my rpm (I end up crashing into something).

I saw a post that said to edit the profile %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Need For Speed\settings\PROFILEOPTIONS_profile
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth 0.300000.

But it just reverts back too
GstRender.ScreenSafeAreaWidth 0.900000
everytime I save it and im saving it as the original file not a TXT.

Any help much appreciated.

Can you set that file to be Read Only via its right click properties?

If so, does that help? Thanks.

  • That worked, I made my changes to the file  and saved then right clicked and set the file for read only.

Thank you. Now if I could move those to an accessory screen. Hmm
