I have no idea why they haven't put that in makes absolutely no sense, the crew 2 and fh3 heavily rely on multiplayer, which is direct rivals to this game but this game won't have it? Ridiculous stuff. Needs to be added immediately. Crucial to the success of the game.
They did it because NFS 2015 was heavily criticised for the always online feature. It was one of the most hated features, at least there still is MP. not the end of the world that you can't crash into random people in a free roam setting.
I don't know, different strokes for different folks I guess. Long time fans of the series care more about the single player experience.

there shold be no collision in the game betwen online players only against traffic cars would make multiplayer way more enjoyable feels that im in destruction derby and winer is the lucky guy that didnt get rammed off the road before the stupid checkpoints that this game has then you have to turn around to come back and pass by the checkpoint lol checkpoints in racing game....
- I've been playing NFS titles for over a decade and tbh care more about multiplayer than single.
The multiplayer on this game is poor. I have zero interest in driving round with friends just for the sake of it but online free roam would be ok if there is stuff to do.... eg team championships across all types of events or runner events hot pursuit style (a team of 4 racers vs a team of 4 cops).A friend of mine, once told me that R6 was * at the begining, and the game bonified over time, whit more work put on it, it went from bad to what it is now ( I suppose its good enough now, because a lots of people are playing this game). We can't give up, if they are really looking forward to see if something is doable, then go for it and hope that the whole community didn't die waiting !
God the speedlists are bugged like hell in this game its unbearable... any of you guys get that thing when your in first place then the server like lags and suddenly your like not collecting checkpoints, and if you crash you like return to the start, and everybody is like stuck or something... why isnt there an update out yet ffs????? They already scammed us with the free roam and now we cant even get decent enough speedlists, god I cant take this anymore...
