Multiple accounts but only allowing a single account

So, we just bought NFS:HP on Steam a few days ago (my brother and I) and we've encountered an issue.

We each have a separate copy of the game (given, on the same computer) but, as a result of being on the same computer, the game seems to be linked to my EA account with no way of switching.

Is there a way to switch or somehow allow separate accounts?

    You could try using the game with different Windows user accounts. The save games are saved in your Documents folder, if you and your brother are separate Windows users you have separate Documents-folders and then perhaps also different savegames.
