Need A New Activation Code Need For Speed Hot Pursuit

I've had my game, Hot Pursuit for a few years now. But I never got a chance to play it because the package did not include the code. Can I get some help? Or could I get a new? I really want to play this game. I don't want to have wasted my money for nothing. I used my birthday money on this. Please. Also mine is the Limited Edition.

Was it a new or a used game?

Usually the serial number is printed on the lower left portion on the back of the jewel case, inside the jewel case, or on the back of the manual.
