Does the New Need For Speed have steering wheel support?

We've confirmed a while ago that we won't be releasing any further updates for Need for Speed, which includes steering wheels for consoles.

They don't care they have your money now, and PC is just another source of income because they have the full game with wheel support people will buy it.
Their focus is no longer on xbox platform, and i say this not out of sarcasm, but because most who bought this game on xbox have completed it.
And anyone new to buying this surely would have seen what PC has and xbox does not, and would most likely pass on buying it.
You guys won't even want to play this game with a wheel. I have a G27 and the game feels so broken it's not even funny. The driving mechanics are simply terrible and the game is unplayable with a wheel. If you're expecting physics comparable to GRID or DIRT... forget about it. There is no comparison.
Not to mention clutch pedal and gear stick are NOT compatible. Only the paddle shifters are, and the shifting is just extremely unresponsive all together. Even with a controller.
It all just feels very rushed and incomplete.
Very disappointing.
I have read an update post from 17th March 2016 that NFS 2015 now supports steering wheels and manual transmissions. There is a list of supported wheels of which I have one. A Thrustmaster T300. According to the post as soon as I plug in the wheel it will become the primary control device. I have tried over and over again but not matter what I do the game will not reconize the wheel as a controller. The wheel works fine on Project cars. Whats the deal?
