Note MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner can overlay system information on your game or Playclaw im sure there are other's aswell.
Alt + Tab'ing to the desktop to see your temps is not accurate as the CPU / GPU will start to cool off instantly before the desktop has even been drawn on the screen.
Decreases or Increase the refresh rate for our screen-monitor.
1. Heating problems - check temps and check other games temps when playing, taking side of case sometimes helps.
2. PSU - You could have a poor PSU that is lacking in power and just doesn't have enough ,,power'' too keep your card running.

Have you tried this step -go in Origin / My Games-right click on the game icon NFS select Game Properties, and tick disable Origin In Game .

1. Start the game in windowed mode
2. Ctrl-Alt-Del open Task Manager
3. Right click NFS and select properties
4. Compatibility mode tab
5. Select Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select Windows 7
6. Apply - restart the game, and your good...i think🤔🤨
