Need for Speed crashes every few minutes

Note MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner can overlay system information on your game or Playclaw im sure there are other's aswell.

Alt + Tab'ing to the desktop to see your temps is not accurate as the CPU / GPU will start to cool off instantly before the desktop has even been drawn on the screen.

Decreases or Increase the refresh rate for our screen-monitor.

1. Heating problems - check temps and check other games temps when playing, taking side of case sometimes helps.

2. PSU - You could have a poor PSU that is lacking in power and just doesn't have enough ,,power'' too keep your card running.

4. Conflicting software - Disable all softwares that doesn't need to be on.And to perform a Clean Boot look here  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

Have you tried this step -go in Origin /  My Games-right click on the game icon NFS select Game Properties, and tick disable Origin In Game .

1. Start the game in windowed mode
2. Ctrl-Alt-Del open Task Manager
3. Right click NFS and select properties
4. Compatibility mode tab
5. Select Run this program in compatibility mode for: Select Windows 7
6. Apply - restart the game, and your good...i think🤔🤨

I have same problem, my game have many random freezes, that cause 1sec - 15 secs freezes , so.... I dont know how to fix it =/   I use an HD 7950 16gb ram i3 4130

Is a User Profile corruption.

Nothing has worked so far.  Basically, I can only play for a few minutes, sometimes long enough to run a race, then it freezes and I have to use CTRL+ALT+DEL to close it out.

I have tried setting everything to the lowest settings and even tried only using one screen.

it's a corrupted windows profile it seems

make a new windows user and see if it happens on that one also

@FistyMcBeard made a great suggestion to try and setup a new Windows users.

If that doesn't help you, I've seen the following suggestions get players back into the game:

• Do a clean installation of your gpu drivers
• Run your system in a clean boot

Could you try the suggestions listed in this thread? If that doesn't help, please upload a dxdiag.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers, making a new game profile, making a new Windows user, changing keyboard language, disabling Eyefinity, changing to the lowest possible settings, and even a clean boot, and I still can't figure this out.  When I use the Afterburner program, everything looks normal.

I've had this issue as well. I can play fine for up to 15 minutes but then the game will freeze, sometimes in game, sometimes during cut scenes (which are just videos basically). The FPS counter goes to 0 or 1 and it still tries to display something but can't. then I get a message my connection to the EA server was lost and I'm back to the main menu. 

Sometimes it won't even get me to the main menu and give me some weird error about the language of my game being wrong Oo I then need to restart the whole PC before it works again. 

As it is, the game is unplayable. 

I've seen some ridiculous suggestions on this forum and I'm one of those users who won't reinstall tons of stuff on my PC for one simple game that wasn't made correctly. I play tons of games on different clients such as Battlefront, BF4, The Division, AC Syndicate, Primal, etc... to name a few and none of them have any GPU or Windows errors. Only NFS. My drivers are all up to date and the Windows installation is barely 3 months old. 

Specs are: i5 4570, 16Gb of RAM, GTX 970. The game runs in High settings Vsynced at 60FPS. 

Hope this gets patched soon because barely a day after release seeing 2 or 3 posts on your forums about this is more than worrying...

Which version of the R9 are you running? It doesn't show on the dxdiag.

Your dxdiag does look fine. I can see NFS16 crashing due to a kernelbase.dll error, which relates to profile corruption as was mentioned earlier in this thread. However, you've stated that you've already tried a different Windows user..

I see that you are playing on three screens, just for testing purposes, could you try running the game with one monitor?

Could you upload a dxdiag as well? Would give me a clearer picture than just the system specs.

As for the language error, this can be resolved by reinstalling Origin.
