I'm sure u know what I'm talking about.
I just found out the rainbow nos isn't EVEN rainbow at ALL! It's just WHITE!
That and the other bugs still there, missing customisations on the ferraris with the 1.5 update... Customizations... !
EA just EA'ed so hard like Blackbox with Undercover hard that you had to patch to even use autosculpt.
YOU had TWO whole years to get it working, you weren't pushed for YEARLY releases!
Might as well have fixed payback at this point and called it day.

The game is unfinished and should have not been released in this condition. Still no wheel support, a lot of the features are still missing. If EA planned on releasing a Beta version the least they could could have done is adjust the price accordingly. I purchased Assetto Corsa when it was not finished, but I new what I was getting and the price was only $19.99. Once the game was complete everybody that purchased the pre-release got the full game for free. That's how it's done. Not releasing this bug infested mess and let everybody wait for patches that might or might not work and then finally 3-6 months down the road you manage to get the game patched into a usable product.
- 6 years ago@speedracer523 TBH BB had non-yearly release. It was The Run, which BB had 3 years for it and still not good at all. I feel same problem will become Ghost's. Yes EA is notorious for rushing projects. But I doubt even with more time(Heat missed E3 2019) Ghost can make a flawless(no bug no crash) NFS anytime soon.

@GK3512
Underground, Underground 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Prostreet, Undercover, all those were year to year back to back Black Box games (as well as NFS HP2, but I feel like that's more like an adaptation of an earlier engine from other devs; that one was just a bit weird in how different it was to underground in terms of graphics and such).
Anything after that (The Run) was just the product of a failing devision of EA - The Run was the last thing they ever made...
UG/UG2 was a shared engine/build
MW and Carbon kinda shared a thing that evolved into Prostreet and Undercover...
Meanwhile Heat is built on Payback which is built on NFS2015 which is built using frostbite...
The only reason I'm focused on the bugs and glitches is that the underlaying structure of the game has been the same since NFS2015, they've just remade the game over the last release that they had, and should've NOT introduced new bugs, fixed old ones, and so on...
With the BB games back in the day, even games that shared bases were radically different enough for bugs and such to emerge.
moving to carbon meant converting everthing to night. And undercover was open world vs closed race tracks (prostreet had car issues too, but hey... it wasn't a particularly good entry anyway (I actually got it after Undercover)).
I'm not expecting flawless, but I expect much better response to things that are so obvious...
Even after all its patches, the crew (an ubisoft game) still has two major issues 1. It would almost always launch an installer that you'd need to kill with task manager to start the game (there's nothing to install) 2. it has a >50% of not working if you switch out of the game to your desktop...
Anyway... many of these shouldn't have even made it to release...
Maybe in the early playtest versions, yes, but not a release and certainly not a patch 1 month afterwards...- 6 years ago@speedracer523 I dont agree with everything after The Run was failure.MW2012 though not welcomed by most NFS players,is still the most fun game in NFS series to me(Even more than all HP games)Yes the game flopped hell by fanbase standard.Maybe because I played Burnout during BB years so I never feel anything special about countless BB recycle cars in Ghost NFS.Also led to my preference of MW2012.
About BB games-they stop innovation after MW05 or Carbon(If Autosculpt parts count as a innovation)Yes they are hugely rushed since Carbon, but other than the rubbish The Run,ProStreet and Undercover just did what NFS did before poorly.
About recycle and common engine,Burnout used Renderware engine throughout its lifespin of 2001-08(Remaster is the same thing so no)But even with same engine and same speed/carnage focused gameplay, all 5 main Burnout games had innovation/difference in gameplay.Burnout 2 introduced Crash mode,BO3 added TAKEDOWN(hence the name) and Aftertouch.BO4 added Revenge mode and Traffic Attack.BO5 turned series into open world racing game and add new collectables/unlock system.
If we look at NFS BB games, the gameplay innovation stops after MW05-Open world/Drift/Drag/Speed Trap/Cops/Boss races.3 BB games after MW05 shared such things more of less. With The Run just totally give up as garbage since that game is linear and simple like an arcade machine game.
Just like Classic Era NFS only had 6 main games,BB NFS also only had 6 main games(The Run is totally unfinished so no)After 6 games Ghost took over to end the mix styles from different devs.So naturally, even NFS survives after Heat flops hell.Ghost or any dev of NFS can only extend the series to 24th main game, then it's game over for NFS.But TBH I think useless Ghost may kill NFS with NFS2019 alone,so maybe they can break the cycle
