Reporting the exact same issue. -CPU usage climbs to 100%, CPU & GPU Cooling fans running at REDLINE, etc.- Drivers fully updated and stuff. Just wondering if there's some game related optimization bug though.
Specs (As of Oct. 3rd, 2022):
-ASUS ROG Strix B550-F MoBo
-AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU
-Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 SDRAM Modules
-MSI (AMD) Radeon RX-580 Armor OC GPU.
-Samsung HD-161JH HDD (Main/OS)
-Seagate FireCuda ST2000DX002 SSHD (Storage/Games)
-Raidmax Horus ATX Full Tower Computer Case
-Windows 11 Pro OS

Same issue, can run every other game on ultra no probs but this game eats my computer alive for some reason.

Hey, @Sozgrump @audriusklp @SpeedWarrior429 can you try a clean boot to see if any programs are messing with Need for Speed: HEAT and turn off any overlay programs, such as Discord or Nvidia experience.
Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

I have the same issue, my computer is overheating, and the cooling fans are running at maximum lvl
I tried a clean boot with NVIDIA GeForce Experience disabled but it made no difference at all.
I´ve attached the Dxdiag file as requested, I really appreciate any help you can provide.
