Need for Speed Heat doesn't always start.

Hello all, I have been having this problem with need for speed heat recently where when I start the game on steam, origin starts but the game never ends up launching just just goes back to the green play button. If I restart origin and steam sometimes it will start but not always. One thing to note: in origin need for speed heat is kinda grayed out along with a few other games in my library which do not have the same problem. 

Specs:
Intel i5-10300H

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650
Game directory is on an external 1.5 TB drive with all my other games
