Need for Speed Heat PC

Need for Speed Heat detects my joystick always going down. I was wondering if anybody had the same issue and if so do they have a fix for it?

    @Solorax1 

    Remove any additional peripheral devices such as a joystick, steering wheel or even a guitar hero controller and then retry.
