Need for speed heat. Stuck on title screen.

Please boot your console in Safe Mode and choose Option 5, Rebuild Database.

Any updates on this situation. im experiencing something similar. 

Same here on Xbox. Tried hard reset on Xbox and uninstalling and reinstalling game.

This happens to me on xbox. i can still get to home screen but cant get past title screen. The only i solution i found was to do a full shut down and start or restart of the system. Meaning i have to hold the button on the console. then the game works. This is the only thing that works. if you play with controller charging, keep it like that because when you pull out the wire the game won't respond until you restart the system again.

The following things did not work:

turning controller off and on

updating controller software

soft shut offs (you have to go into settings and turn it off from there)

This is an issue with the game, i played forza and my controller worked just fine. good luck to everyone and hope they fix this bug soon.

I'm having the same problem but on Xbox One S what do I do?

Just bought NFS Heat during the publisher sale on Xbox one X. I’m having the same issue on start screen. It tells me to press A and then nothing happens it’s not responding to my controller. Tried everything these guys tried and I’m about to get a refund from Microsoft and buy something else NOT EA if this isn’t fixed immediately. How does this happen to people 3 weeks ago and still isn’t fixed? This is ridiculous 

Had the same problem. Couldn’t install at first. All day searching How to get passed the sign in screen. I saw one comment about unplugging USB ports and that’s what did it. I had external hard drive plugged in but took it out and was good to go.
