I get this error constantly when switching cars. I have too, tried switching the graphics all down to low, I even unplugged my second monitor, to no avail. It crashes also when I use the jump to jack spot option.

I'm having the same issue as you both. Tried all of those options and nothing so far either.
Same issue, none of the 'fixes' suggested on the interwebs fixed this problem.
Unfortunately, NFS MW is dead, you'd be better off finding another game to play whilst Criterion "fixes" these problems. Just hope for the best, you're lucky you didn't buy it when it was £40.
