the problem with the EA support is that there is no actual support available. Only some guides to do by yourself online which I have done.
Also as the game is bought on Steam, EA Games are sending me to steam. Steam, on the other hand is pointing me to EA Games so this makes me go in circles.
Dont worry. It is the same issue no matter what platform you bought it from.
I tried and installed the game on a brand new pocket PC and it ran flawlessly. So it has to be something from the system. To mention that it arrived with pre-installed windows. almost all drivers were out of date and it still ran the game. I used the same EA app account. I will try on another laptop and on my old PC as well :)) . Hopefully a solution will take shape for my brand new laptop that cannot run an old game...
My Old laptop doesnt have a video card so this is not going to be a solution in my case. Submitted Steam help case, but it is not looking very promissing.
Installed it on an old work laptop with an i5 proc and on board graphics and 8Gb of ram. ran like crap but at least the game launched.
The laptop I use now and on which the game does not launch is an Asus TUF gaming A 15 with an AMD Ryzen 9 8945H and RTX4060laptop , 32GB ram. The only thing I did not try is to somehow force or disable the dedicated card and use the 780M graphics but I don't know how to do that yet.
I upgraded bios firmware to the latest version too. Same **bleep** popup appears when launching the game. The only other idea I have is to reinstall Windows... BUT I do not want to do that for 1 game only.
And the story goes on... :)) . At this point I think I have more chances to run it on my phone than on my current laptop.
