Need for Speed Payback (ea.com/unable-to-connect) Check Internet Connection)

So in short my EA account & PlayStation account are linked yet every time I load up Need for Speed Payback an play online after several years of being in the military and I wanted to show my Wife one...

You could try talking with EA support, they might be able to provide you with more relevant information.

    Yeah they are saying they have zero clue on why it's not working. They sent it up higher than their supervisor technical team manager and he had zero clue on how to fix the issue.

      Maybe wait for a few days and start a new chat with EA support, there is nothing much more that I can recommend.
