I am not sure but I`ve heard a rumor in another thread that there should be an old alternative way.
About offline mode and set date to the announcement for the RX-7 and start the game and there should be a notification or so.

This doesn't work I reset the date and it still doesn't work!!! Its not in the shop or nothing. How do I get the rx7?! Someone plzzzz help!
