Need for Speed Payback: Progress lost bug
Purchased the game and played through the tutorial and well into the second part of the story, i.e. drag racing, drifting and such where done. Called it a night there thinking I could resume it in the morning. Started the system up and I was back at the garage with the first car I chose. Odd, and after a quick search I realized everything was gone! The speed points I had used were lost on the cars. My remainder was still there but that was it. After a chat session multiple times, which will never happen again, I finally called the support option. Hands down the best choice I made in a week of frustration. Roderick got my speed points back ASAP, unfortunately this seems to be a bug similar to Rival’s days and doesn’t have a lot of attention yet. He told me to take it to the forums and hopefully EA devs can start nipping this in the butt before it gets too big. The fear now is if I try to play again I will loose it all over again!
