Need for speed police

The police are way to easy.  I think the outlaw system needs a complete overhaul.  Make it like previous games where the car your drive was what kept the police heat high.  Gives you a reason to reskin and repaint your car anyway.  But the police are way to casual.  Their cars are slow, they lack skill, and they give up really easy.  Bring back Rhino units, add new police cars like supercharged SUVs or Lamborghini police cars, make the chase fun.  I can't count how many times i have to stop so they can catch up so I can complete challenges.  Add helicopters or something to make it more fun. 

I COMPLETELY agree with you on how the police lack intelegence and speed, and that the heat level should be based on what car you drive. However, since the game is suppose to be underground themed, police lambos are kind of stupid. You wouldn't see a police aventador in new york city, would you? The helicopters would be an epic addition to the game, and the fines should go up quicker to give the player more reason to stay away from the cops and try their hardest to escape them

True, maybe not a lambo police. But I mean something, a super charged SUV? something fast man these cops you can escape from in a drift the whole time lol..  I shouldn't have to try to keep the police on me when I want to play with them lol.

So I have seen a lot of complaints about the police (I have written one of these complaints) and it seems to be pretty much agreed that the police are boring.  Why are the police boring?  They have slow cars, they are not very good at driving, and there is not enough of them.  If the police would be updated to make them actually challenging at this point it would be like changing the entire feel of the game.  I will suggest several suggestions on how the police system could be improved.  Please, comment your feed back, thoughts, ideas, what you like or dislike.  The more active a thread the better chance of it being addressed.

1)Separate the outlaw from the rep.  Make outlaw its own beast.  (example: My supra is rarely driven so it would have 1 outlaw rank, but my NSX would be at 7 because I use it to mess with the fuzz.)  Now you could lower the outlaw level by changing your paint / body works or add an option to pay a much smaller portion of the fine you acquired or let it just dissipate over time.  I would suggest the outlaw level be capped at the same level as your rep but that would require the police to level up as well.  (also in alldrive the lobby could have an average police ranking.  like if you all have different levels of outlaw on your cars, the cops patrolling will obviously vary.  So if a level 4 cop spots you being silly with your level 1 wanted car.. you will just have to accept the fate.)

2) Give the police some speed or more backup.  One slow cop car can not keep up with a fully modded any of the cars offered really. They either need helicopters and more roadblocks.  Ooooorrrrr faster cars.  A previous post i wrote about the police the only reply said Lambo cops would be stupid..  In relevance to the story and how the city looks and feels I reckon they are correct when they say an Aventador cop car would not fit in here.   But what would fit in is the same type of police system from Most Wanted and it would directly tie into the first idea.  Undercover police cars with more power and smarter driving.  Police SUVs, Helicopters, better roadblocks, smarter multi cruiser tactics like the rolling roadblock and pit maneuvering.  When you lose the police, they should also set up roadblocks and actually try to find you. 

3) Mark the police on the map..? Or at least do a radar detector type system built into the map.

4) A fun new competitive game mode could come out of it where players get to be the cop and try to take down rival racers... (sound familiar NFS fans?)

5) doing this could add new trophies and decals with a police theme to them. 

6) more police on patrol.  OR if you hit a car, have them report the crime so police (more than one) will respond to the location.  This will cause the police to either run into you on their way to your hit and run, or if you hit multiple cars, they will begin to search actively for you in a (however many mile radius you see fit)

supercharged SUV's are a good idea, i never said get rid of them. I feel like another cool idea would be if there were some routes that acted similar to pursuit breakers, but didn't involve      over-the-top destruction. I was thinking cool shortcuts that involve things like driving through dirt piles to go in a tunnel, busting through a gate to jump over a barrier, or smashing a weak guardrail to jump down one little part of a mountain. The thing is that cops would hit the brakes before they hit the jump or enter the tunnel, but there would be a cop waiting at the end of the shortcut, so it's like all 4 cops chasing you are gone, but one is still after you. Why not lambo ???police thats for when you at maximum heat level and they gotta pullout all the stops to stop you...

If u get about 20,000 fine in police chase more police cars appear out of no where I was bein chased by 8 was maximum count
