Need For Speed Pro Street Ownership Verification

Question

Pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. I bought NFS Pro Street on the Origin store and it keeps telling me to sign in with EA then immediately after it says:

"---------------------------The game can not start---------------------------In order to launch this game, please login to the EA Download Manager to verify your ownership, then try again.---------------------------OK ---------------------------"

Well, I searched and was linked here:&nbsp;[Removed - Admin.]

Which supposedly is supposed to fix the file, that didn't do squat, as it makes the screen go black before returning to it's normal scale and saying that it's crashed. I'm trying the second one and so far, it's just sitting there looking stupid before crashing Origin completely. &nbsp;So I thankfully backed my original EXE up, and have the same problem that I can't verify ownership. Any other downloads or fixes? Cause &nbsp;nothing I've found is working, like, at all. I've not been able to play, and I want to, I feel like I've wasted my money ;~;

@XxFengoxX just reinstalled the game so my niece could play. but, i'm getting this error now. has anyone found a fix for this??

EA shutdown the server used by EA download manager. Origin no longer sells the game, but if you bought it before through Origin, it should still be in your library.. You need to contact EA support as shown in the prior post to get this fixed.

I downloaded the game from Origin as is and downloaded a no cd patch form here: http://www.gameburnworld.com/dl/gpf.php?file=NeedForSpeedProStreetv1.0NoDVDFixedexeEng-2.rar. The game works flawlessly.

I can't extract it. Its saying that I can't open it as an archive.
