Need for Speed Rivals - Black screen only with full screen

On startup Need for Speed Rivals is giving me a black screen only whilst full screened. Alt tabbing has it in a windowed screen where things begin to work properly, but any attempt to return to full ...

LAST UPDATE 

This will be fixed with an upcoming patch however we do not have an ETA. More information to come. Thanks.

I've NOT a tv set connected NOR a HDMI connection with anything. I've a SINGLE monitor connected via DVI to my pc, and the problem EXISTS. So i don't know what they mean with "the issue has been identified".. if it's related to TVs/HDMI, it's not my case.
