Forum Discussion
I've posted on this forum before with the same issue which is being unable to play Need for Speed Rivals in full screen at all, with full full screen mode appearing completely black with broken, or no sound. Like most users on here, it occurs when my 7950 is plugged in via an HDMI to an HDTV. I've tried disconnecting the crossfire cable, and disabled avast anti-virus temporarily, and now, I just updated to the very latest Catalst 13.11 beta 9.5, and the issues are still exactly the same.
Again, none of my other games or applications have any other issues at all. My settings in NFS Rivals are all Ultra, with fullscreen set to off. Anti Aliasing, is forced via Catalyst Control Center, however to troubleshoot further, I disabled this feature, and regardless, the issue still persisted. The only fix that's worked for me is to plug it into a monitor.
I am happy to know based on the previous post, that updating to Catalst 13.11 beta 9.5 did work for some people. Hopefully a full resolution will be made available soon.

Installed 9.5 and nothing changed for me. Same problem, no full screen. The problem is obviously game-related, not driver-related.
