12 years agoAs previously mentioned, this is occurring with a specific TV on DVI and HDMI connection with specific cards. However, because of the particular hardware set-up under which this occurs, we’re unfortunately unable to resolve this issue.

12 years agoI finally tried an AMD made DVI to VGA adapter and a regular VGA cable plugged into my TV and saw that it worked in fullscreen. This worked despite being the exact same graphics card and TV which have prevented me from playing fullscreen since Nov 19th. Since this is essentially a bad workaround that negates all of HDMI's benefits, all just for one game, is there anyway to edit an ini file in the game, or even a line of code for the EDID of my TV in the Win 7 registry to trick NFS rivals into thinking my set is outputting to a VGA monitor? While this is yet another terrible workaround for a tripple A title, at least it wouldn't require annoying adapters or unknown apps running in the background.
