Forum Discussion
First, if there is a complaint or game-specific e-mail to connect with, can someone please post? I'm a bit dubious about complaints in forum threads.
As a gaming parent, I will not buy this game for the PS4, nor will I recommend it to anyone until it has gaming wheel support. I am constantly asked for advice because I'm the gaming "expert" (I play games) in my circle of friends, family, parents at school, and neighbors. The biggest issue for parents (second to content / rating) is cost of games. Nobody wants a $60.00 game to sit unplayed, especially the people paying for the game!
Any conversation about racing games -- regardless of them being arcade or simulator level -- I ask the following questions. Q1: Do you have a racing wheel? If not, Q2: Are you planning on getting a racing wheel? If not at this point, I have no real issue with recommending games like this -- but I never get to. It's Question 3 that kills it. And it's the one parents ask me.
Parent: It doesn't use a steering wheel, how does it work then?
Even with my careful explanation, I get the same sour that doesn't make sense expression every time. And that's that.
A $60.00 racing game that so obviously does not work the one controller every parent actually understands? I'm sure EA can see the reasoning here.
