Unfortunately racing wheels are not supported and on PC platforms the Xbox 360 controller and Keyboard are the only supported input devices for Need for Speed Rivals.

I know I have mentioned this already (and also sorry if I repeat myself again here) but I can only recommend trying as some driving wheels may work. Maybe some players have already tried with a different steering wheel, if so, they can also post a message here.

eanajat - Thank you for responding. We all have seen your earlier posts, but I'm sorry, that just doesn't cut it. EA isn't some Indie company releasing their first game they designed in their basement. The game in it's present form is not enjoyable for most people. Playing a driving game with a keyboard or gamepad doesn't cut it any more. It's OK for the Smartphone and iPad users, but not for PC, Playstation or X-Box. Steering wheel support is expected.
You keep saying that some wheels might work. OK, so help us out here. Which ones work? How do we get them to work? EA makes money selling the game, the customer should be able to expect a completed product, not this buggy, unfinished mess that was released! It shouldn't be up to the gaming community to finish your game! Does EA really expect us to give them money for their product that doesn't work and then fix it for free??? Yeah, right, I don't think so.
You say you want to help us. Well , what are you waiting for? This isn't the only problem, as you very well know. Let's get some answers, a time frame when this is expected to get fixed. I don't see any effort coming from EA. I sent an e-mail to Ghost regarding the steering wheel issue and this was the reply:

It's not like I'm asking them to disclose trade secrets here! That tells me EA is not allowing them to let us know anything. Great! So, back to you. Where's the help your offering???
4northstar - I can surely try to clarify a few things if you want, but since you have contacted the team directly, I am not sure what additional information I can add to this. I am sure you know it already but we have gathered many comments and feedback from the community members about this topic and we have forwarded them to the team.
Now, some steering wheels may work but I don't know which ones, this said, I am sure we can share experiences within the community. After all this is the reason why Answer HQ is here for, and we can open a new thread for this. Any suggestion is welcome.

And you're not sure what additional information you could give!!!!! Are you serious???? What exactly did that response clarify??? If you have nothing to add to that response I don't know what kind of help you're offering......
You don't know what type of steering wheels work.............do you want to tell me that when this game was in the testing phase the programmers were using a keyboard or gamepad to control the cars????? I seriously doubt it. Why doesn't EA let GHOST communicate with the gaming community??? I'm sure they could help. What's EA afraid of???? That we'll find out that the game was rushed out the door unfinished????? We already figured that out, don't you think??? The only thing you are doing is passing the buck back to the gaming community...........let's see what they can do. "After all, this is Answer HQ"........that's a cop-out answer, not help. If you're forwarding the comments to EA/GHOST you should also get a response.
