I just did some research on what similarly happened with Hot Pursuit 2010.  When it came out in November, people were complaining about PS3 version and how it did not support logitech wheels.  Criterion RESPONDED ASAP and said that they are working hard to add that support and a month later in December, a patch was released.

I would think that since most people that are in GHOST were originally from criterion, they would have simply learned their lesson not to release a racing game without Steering Wheel compatibility!

Its been over a month now with no response whatsoever.  This is ridiculous!

I almost bullied Criterion into submission with Hot Pursuit for steering wheel support which got me banned on the old EA NFS forums Lol :mansurprised:

They released a patch a couple of months after release although the centre cog on the wheel wasn't being used so it was relatively useless. With the next game patch the cog was implemented and NFS Hot Pursuit still stands as THE best arcade style racing game EVER produced. I still play it whenever I can. I have racked up tens of thousands of hours on it and it never gets boring.

I seriously doubt if Criterions Hot Pursuit will ever be overthrown. I was looking forward to Rivals and it almost looked like a 'Hot Pursuit Mark 2' but without wheel support I can't really say.

I was playing Hot Pursuit yesterday and it is still as great now as it was three years ago.

Please EA/GHOST/CRITERION give us wheel support on Rivals. Like I posted previously on this thread the wheel works and the steering plays out just like Hot Pursuit but we need pedal implementation and customisable buttons etc
