Please EA give your loyal customers what they want.... Steering wheel support for a racing game....
- Anonymous12 years agoThing is that its obvious the ps4 recognizes the g25 cause when I plug it in it goes through the calibration procedure and then sits idle, every other device I've plugged in that isn't recognized by the ps4 (including my Sony pulse elite headset???) always comes up with an error message saying device is not recognized . So where's the god damn wheel support EA , ghost, criterion?????? !!!!!

- Anonymous12 years agoI didn't buy the game because I saw these posts first. Thanks to everyone for being so vocal. I'm perplexed about the lack of communication fro EA. They KNOW this has turned into a PR nightmare. They also certainly must KNOW whether or not they are going to patch this. Leaving everyone in the dark is increasing the frustration and anger in the community. EA, are you going to patch this or not? I think no answer IS an answer.
For those with a need for speed, while using their wheel, check out Project Cars on Steam. It has wheel support, it is in BETA, and looks promising. That's my contribution to this thread: an alternative. - Anonymous12 years ago
Grid 2 is very good too.
They even have a support team who gives a crap.
EA has sure p#ssed a lotta folks off with this one.
GOOD JOB EA!
Back to playing something that actually works.
- I gave need for speed world a go last night. Its a couple years old but is free to play and has steering wheel support. I still believe that this game was rushed out the door for the next gen and that's why it wasn't added. I'm still hopeful that they will patch the game to fix the countless bugs and add the steering wheel support it should had from day one. Until I hear of at least a bug fixing patch it's staying shelved.

I didn't learn about this as well after I installed the game. My wfe bought it for me for Christmas at on Dec 3rd. I only opened it on the 25th and then played it for the first time on the 27th. It froze the first time I tried to play it and then learnt of the issue with no wheel support.
When I called to refund, they said I was outside the policy return period.. so I am stuck with it..
So no support for wheel, game freezing and I am stuck with it ... I am sure they are already working on the next version of the game which will have wheel support but we will be stuck with this until then.
Again, I am sure this is all the end-users fault for not researching before buying .. of course!!
