I spoke with a EA rep today. The rep was unaware of any issues with the public lobby's. I informed him of threads all over the internet about this issue, like on twitter, face books NFS account, this site, ect. I was put on hold, then told by the rep that he saw some threads and will report the issue to EA.
I was also told by him that there is a cache issue with the XB1, and that memory has been getting bogged down in some games, and causing issues. It was suggested to me to turn on the XB1, then hold down the power button on the unit until it shuts off. This does a hard reset and clears the cache. I did this, but it did not solve the issue with the Rivals public game.
I then received an email stating that Brendan with EA has solved my issue and closed out the case. HAHA that is comical.
I think I am done with this whole NFS franchise. There is some kind of issue with every single game recently. After I concoursed in most wanted, my xbox would freeze constantly and would have to be shut off and restarted.
How does EA continue to get away with releasing games with faulty code? They wont get anymore of my hard earned money, that is for sure.
Add me so I can play with a real person and not a computer. GT beerwhisperer one word, all lower case letters.
