I tried to play Need For Speed Rivals on my PS4 but the controls are garbage. Square for E-Brake is stupid, is there a way to change them?-Phillip

I can't believe support doesn't even exist for this topic. Maybe if I use a little profanity, someone will read.EA, it's 2013. We need to be able to customize the controls on any PC compatable controller. You cannot play a racing game very well on a keyboard. This is not acceptable in any possible way. WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE CONTROLS. Oh, you probably made a deal with Microsoft so they can sell more xbox controllers for PC JUST to even play the game.What about people who are disabled and need to customize the controls to fit their disability? Ever think of that?So, just one last time. Yes, without a doubt, we need to be able to customize the mother**bleep**ing controls. You've got a week to update the game, then I'm getting my money back. I'll call the BBB if I have to.Oh, and BTW- I'm dual 690 hydrocoppers over here, and I expected the detail level to be much better.

I don't like them either, but the fact that EA won't let you change them or even acknowledge your concern is a joke.Word of advice, ALWAYS rent EA games, NEVER buy until you test. Don't end up like those dumb bastards who bought NBA Live, or in this case NFS.

Well i used to love NFS games i played and finished every single one of them within the first week of their release NO MORE tho if u dont listen to your players well then screw you ea i will never buy another game from you again 🙂 i can live with out giving you any more of my money

this is the dumbest of the dumbest ideas they have ever had. who the hell makes a game in this day and age where you cant configure buttons for your own convenience. and its a racing game! not everyone drives like you drive EA! im a PC user but im not driving with a damn keyboard, thats illegal in california lol. it sucks because the game looks really good but this little unconfigurable controls thing makes me want to return it to the store. for me right now MOST WANTED 13 still rules even though people are not playing it much anymore. i hope EA that somehow u would have a solution for this problem. a fix a patch an addon i dont care just make the joystick buttons configurable. okay fine i will say please.its a racing game. if im already used to using one controller thats ofcourse compatible with the past need for speeds then i would want to use that controller for the next ones as well. we cant just change our whole style of driving suddenly. and dont say learn because what you are doing is practically changing places of everything used inside a car, just imagin if your gas pedal is suddenly your brakes pedal, or your NOS was the eject button lol. that wouldnt be of any help when im trying to lose the cops now would it? well the eject button might but you get the point

I guess they foillow suit with microsoft : good OS , crappy os , good os , crappy os. When will I learn?

Hello, you can change the controls on PC by pressing Esc or Entering a Command Post and then pressing Pg Dwn until you come to the appropriate menu. On console I believe you cannot change it sadly.

Yeah I noticed that too I'm extremely disappointed because I always drove with the left right and not the joysticks on the left or right and having to do so is completely horrible and not having x as gas and having Square as brake is just stupid

I found a simple decision. In PS4 settings you can change appointment's any of buttons in universal access settings.

I feel your pain a bit, i had a stroke and my fingers are strobg enough for x or push forward r3 but not to hold down r2

Hii i think There's salutation try too go to setting then abelteass its on the ps4 setting then you can change the places of the batens for example if you want to drive with R2 you can replace it with X
