Need For Speed Rivals Online Play

I purchased the game and I can not connet to the only features. I have an existing Origin account that I linked to my Playstation 4 account. When I got to the Need for speed Network page it says I have not purchased or played the game. Help? My friend can't get online either and he created a new Origin account.
