Honestly I came across it searching everywhere for a solution for Rivals and read it on a response to Payback (which has the same issue). Either way it doesn't matter, I guess it was a fluke as the game does the same exact * today even though I played online all night (which makes me more angry I wasted my time. My EA account had been deactivated or something as I hadn't used it in such a long time and sure enough it let me right in the Rivals games but today its same trash. EA servers are just trash and they clearly refuse to fix it, I'll be going to for my refund now.

Alright well this might help, the game has this issue on my new one S console but seems to work just fine on my original one console. Not sure how that helps buts its new info.... I network transferred a copy of the game to my original one and it booted into lobby first try. I'm trying to run the game off an external drive on my one S and I do not use an external on my original one. May try putting the game on my internal one S drive but I already requested a refund.
